Stretch & Restore

Stretch & Restore is your invitation to slow down, soften, and give your body and nervous system a true reset. This class blends gentle stretching with restorative practices to help release tension, improve mobility, and cultivate deep rest.

Stretch & Restore is a beautiful stand-alone practice and a powerful complement to stronger classes like Hot and Flow. It’s suitable for most bodies and all levels, including newer practitioners, those returning from time away, and anyone feeling stressed, depleted, or tight.

Rather than one single format, your teacher rotates through different restorative styles, so each class feels fresh while staying soothing and accessible. You might experience:

Supported restorative postures with blankets, bolsters, and blocks
Myofascial release using therapy balls or props to gently unwind tight areas

Guided relaxation or Yoga Nidra to invite a deep, meditative state of rest

Yin Yoga

Yin is a slow, meditative practice where you spend several minutes in mostly floor-based postures, allowing the muscles to soften so you can work more deeply into the connective tissues around the hips, pelvis, spine, and shoulders. Poses are typically held for 3–5 minutes (sometimes longer), with plenty of props to help you feel supported rather than strained.

Inspired by the work of Sarah Powers and Insight Yoga, this class weaves together Yin postures, awareness of the Chinese meridian system, and mindfulness. We explore three key principles of Yin practice: finding an appropriate edge (sensation, not pain), relaxing into stillness, and staying for time. As you linger in each shape, you’re guided to watch the breath, notice sensations, and meet your experience with curiosity rather than striving.

On a physical level, Yin supports joint health, flexibility, and circulation in the deeper tissues. Energetically, the shapes are chosen to stimulate specific meridian pathways to help balance the body’s subtle energy. Emotionally and mentally, the practice offers a chance to slow down, listen inward, and cultivate patience, steadiness, and compassion toward yourself.

Yin is a beautiful complement to more active “yang” practices like Flow, Hot, and Pilates. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to be still, breathe, and explore your inner landscape.

Temperature: Comfortable room temperature (no added heat)
Perfect if: You want deep, meditative stretching, healthier joints and hips, and a quiet practice that feels like a bridge between yoga and seated meditation.
